Hi and welcome to my site!
My name is Lucas Burnley and I have been making knives since July of 2003, although knife making is something that I have wanted to do for about as long as I can remember. I have always had a very strong creative drive, and enjoy working with my hands. Before knife making, my primary interest was jewelry. I think that knife making was just a natural progression. I love being able to create something beautiful and useful at the same time.
The majority of my knives are made using stock removal methods, but I also forge when I find the time.
I enjoy just about every genre of knife making and love learning new techniques that allow me to improve and refine my style.
I decided to become a full time maker in august of 2004, and I couldn't be happier.
